- 1997 - appointed as KL Bakat Team Head Coach
- 1998 - obtained black belt 3rd Dan
- 2000 - appointed as Sukan Malaysia Perak Team Coach
- Master Instructor of KL Ladies Self Defense Training Centre

- Certificate of Sport Science Level 1 by National Sport Council (NSC)

APIIT Advisor: Dr Andy Seddon (3rd Dan WTF)
Dr Seddon has been involved in Taekwondo in the UK for 13 years, a relatively short time in comparison to the rest of the committee but in that time he has built up a number of contacts through his work overseas through Staffordshire University. He travelled regularly to Malaysia and Hong Kong where he has built up friendships with local clubs, instructors and students.
He believes in promoting Taekwondo as a sport for all and has recently become involved in work with the local Sport Council representatives to enable Taekwondo to be accessible to a wider audience in the North Staffordshire area of the United Kingdom.
He was approached by the United Taekwondo Federation in the UK to become Publicity and Promotions Office for the UTA committee in 2001 and became an active member of the association helping at numerous international competitions. As well as being referee and corner judge he also participated in competition.
In August 2003 he moved to Malaysia for a period of, what was initially, twelve months. He has become more involved in the APIIT taekwondo club and is determined to help to promote the sport and to attract new members from both staff and students.
APIIT Club President: Lim Yeow Chet (3rd Dan WTF)
Yeow Chet has been involved in Taekwondo for 18 years. In this time he has trained at clubs in a number of states within Malaysia and has represented his clubs in a number of competitions.
He holds a referee qualification and has his 3rd Dan Kukkiwon certificate.
He enjoys martial arts and has been involved in a few other arts, however, taekwondo is still his preference.

i m form KL. i was interesting in this taekwondo club. Today i was first DAN in taekwondo club. Now i m being study STPM in tar college. However this year is the last year,i unable to join taekwondo club in tarc. So i never found any taekwondo club that made me felt confidence when i join. Last time i join the club, my master in near my living area, he seldom told us about the competition of the clubs. Besides that i unable to learn more new skill between my member. Its because my group lack of black belt holder. Master, what i gotten to do the next step?
i hope that master can give yr opinion to me, and i will appreciate yr comment. Thank you.

Hi Kean…I am no master or anything…But as a senior what I could say is that you can join other independant clubs around your living area..I guess you’re staying in SETAPAK? Setapak has a lot of Taekwondo centres too.I was borned there…so there’re clubs not only TARC…hehe…gambateh…you can try contact Mr. Tony. he is the coach in APIIT..He has centres outside too..try asking him.//

hye jz dropping bye….wishing all my fomers team members a very gud luck on sukma….if u guys happen to read this….all the best…im no longer in the field as im still hook with this goddamn torn ligament…..for all taekwondo fighters please take a really good damn care about your leg….especially your damn precious knee joints…do not proceed with acl recons if asked by doctos….jz take ur tym and go on with a good and healthy rehab……may we malaysian succeed in this taekwondo scene…..not only elaine can make it to the olympics but everyone out there…..

Hi,I have train kungfu 2 yrs ago,and stop for 2 yrs. I would like to know the requirement to join big sport event such as olympic and commonwealth game? Can I join using white belt?
