The Java SIG would like to invite students who are passionate about java , enjoy writing tutorials or articles/whitepapers and would like to get their works featured on this site. Hack maybe you have a java related website, We are offering you some space on our blogroll to add your link. Do let us know so that we can review your website or blog.
Just to clear up some questions you may be asking like why in the world would you want to spend your efforts and time publishing your articles on the SIG site.
One of the good reasons, is publishing your articles can be very strategic and one of the most effective methods of getting completely free promotion and publicity.
Your article or white paper is your opportunity to establish yourself as an expert or to be expert. Articles or tutorials allow you to explore deeper into a subject matter and enable you to gain some in depth knowledge, while trying to get a point across.
You can gain critical feedback as your article will be exposed to many individuals who will read it rate it point out to your mistakes, this will in turn allow you to improve within your chosen niche.
Take note featured content on this site will not be limited to article or tutorials person source code snippets are most welcome.
Within the near future if this endeavour takes of monetary awards and incentives to selected papers or source codes will be awarded.

Also note: As a rule, we do not accept copyrighted material , all content must be authentic and must be done by you.
Article Title
Your article title should be pertinent enough to convey, what your article is about
Word Count:
Word count can be approximate and should not include source code.
Objectives/about
Explain why Java SIG readers should care about/must read this article. What makes it compelling? What is the learning benefit?
Supportive Materials:
Describe the applet(s), code sample(s), graphic(s), and other elements you will include.
Abstract/Summary:
This should be an overview of the article’s contents and an explanation to the readers that should compel people to read the article. Representative samples of your published work
Background/Biographical information:
Include information about your Java expertise, your job title and a brief description of your position, your educational background, your outside interests. Convince us and our readers that you are the best author imaginable for the suggested article!
Reference
Reference is important include any sites or sources you might have used to write your article
Source code submission
All source codes should include a readMe file that includes
- Short description of what your source codes are meant to achieve
- Settings configurations that one may need to set up in order to get your system/source codes to function.
